Prepare your water bottling machine RFQ
Enter only known facts; leave uncertain items blank. This tool does not automatically send or save your draft. Copy it before leaving this page.
Your editable-input brief
Build a draft to see known facts, open inputs and checks to request. This is not a specification, price or machine recommendation.
Nothing has been sent. Copy the brief, then paste it into the message on the proposal page. You can attach drawings there.
Open proposal requestWhat makes a water bottling machine RFQ useful?
An RFQ is a request for quotation, not just a request for a total price. It tells a supplier what product and packaging the equipment must handle, what output you need and where the proposed supply begins and ends. A brief that names only a bottle volume and a speed leaves suppliers free to quote different equipment boundaries.
Use the same dated brief for every candidate supplier. Keep known facts separate from requested outcomes and unanswered questions. A desired production date is a buyer target, not proof of delivery availability. A daily production target is not a confirmed machine rating; include scheduled operating hours and ask the supplier to explain the selection basis.
Prepare these inputs even if you do not use the builder
| Decision | What to record | Useful evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Product and container | Water product/source; bottle material and sizes; cap/neck specification | Water analysis, bottle and cap drawings, representative samples |
| Output and formats | Required BPH for each bottle or daily target with operating hours | Format schedule and priority format for selection and testing |
| Equipment boundary | Requested functions, existing machines, options and buyer-supplied items | Scope schedule and available layout/interface drawings |
| Label and finished pack | Label type; artwork status; bundle or case pattern and bottle count | Label, film/carton and finished-pack samples or drawings |
| Site and timing | Country, delivery point, utilities, space constraints and target date | Available site information with unknowns clearly marked |
Keep missing details visible until someone confirms them
Blank fields appear as [confirm] in the generated brief and are repeated in an open-input list. You can also write a specific uncertainty, such as a pending cap drawing or a label format still under review. Filling every box does not verify the information; the supplier must still identify selection-critical assumptions and request the missing evidence.
For multiple formats, put each bottle size, cap, label, pack and required output on its own line in the brief or an attached format schedule. Do not treat one catalog speed as an accepted output for every bottle. If you retain an existing labeler or packing machine, identify it rather than describing the project as a new complete line.
Copy, review and send the brief deliberately
Build the summary and check the read-only result. Use Copy brief or Select text. If your browser blocks clipboard access, the builder selects the text and explains how to copy it manually. Changing an input invalidates the previous result; build again before copying.
The builder itself does not automatically submit or save the draft, and its tool-use analytics events do not include the field values. Copy before navigating away. Open the proposal request, paste the brief into the message and attach the relevant project documents there. Submitting that separate form is the step that sends your enquiry; generating or copying this brief is not a submission.
Review the reply against the same RFQ revision
Ask for an equipment schedule, bottle-specific output basis, list of assumptions and deviations, and separately stated inclusions, options and exclusions. The response should identify utilities, test and acceptance basis, document delivery, spares, installation, commissioning and training responsibilities. Resolve these boundaries before treating two quoted totals as comparable.
When a supplier proposes a different scope or format basis, record the deviation rather than silently changing the brief. Use the quotation guide to check a single reply and the comparison guide when several suppliers have responded. A useful next conversation closes the specific open items instead of restarting the enquiry from a generic price request.
Questions to close before purchase
Can I request a quotation without all specifications?
Yes, as a preliminary enquiry. Keep unknowns visible and ask the supplier to list assumptions, information needed and options. Do not treat a provisional price as a confirmed machine configuration.
Does building or copying the RFQ send it to Allot Tech?
No. Review and copy the brief, open the proposal request, paste it into the message and submit that form when ready. The builder does not send it automatically.
Why include cap, label and finished-pack details?
They affect handling, format parts, labeling and packing scope. Bottle volume alone does not establish closure compatibility or the equipment needed to produce the final saleable pack.
What if the Copy brief button does not work in my browser?
The tool reports the failure and selects the result for manual copying. You can also use Select text and your device's Copy command. The result remains readable in the text box.
What you should leave with
- One reusable buyer brief with bottle, closure, output and equipment-boundary inputs.
- Explicit open items instead of assumed specifications.
- A response checklist for reviewing supplier inclusions, evidence and responsibilities.
